Multi-faced Face Jug.

Southern Pottery Tradition Face jugs are a traditional folk art pottery . In order to stay within the tradition, all my face jugs are made of local clay and wood fired.

anagama fired facejug ASAMA I presented this face jug to the Abbot Shi Yongxin of the Shaolin Temple in China as a symbol of our two cultures emerging. The jug is now in China as part of the Shoalin Temple's Museam collection. See more at ASAMA (American Sports Art Museum and Archives.)
